That's great Duke. You are the first person that I have "coached" through this, so you are special to me. Now you are coaching others. This is a great site. I wish I would have found it sooner. I found it about a month before surgery. I didn't post much, just read alot.
I'm glad you are on track. Spring is coming, you will get even more "spark" in your step!

Hi Jim, thanks for asking. You're right, I don't think at this
point i could expect to be doing any better. Everything is
working good, i'am feeling good. Just got back from a mile or so walk. All in all for being about ten weeks out, i think i'am on track.
Hope you're healed up from your resent problems. This site
and the people on it have been a blessing through this journey.
Wishing you the best.

Duke, How you doing? Haven't heard much from you, other than posting for others. I would think you are doing great. I hope so. Jim

Duke, I found this site about a month before my RC. I didn't post much when I had surgery, and was recovering. I just read alot. Now that's behind me, I enjoy sharing my experience (whether people want to hear it or not) with those just finding out, or going through the process. This site convinced me I could do it, and the outcome would be favorable. And it has.
Just look at me now.................. :)

And look at you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duke, I remember my two months out well. I was just starting to feel pretty good. The next thing I know I was in the hospital a week with a terible infection. Once I got out, things really improved. Your continency sounds very optimistic.
It was four months before I had the confidence to quit wearing protection during the day. It was one happy day, when that happened!!! I don't know if I will ever be dry at night, but I can live with that. My stools were all over the place for about three months. All in all, you sound right on track.
