I've had a Sharp-Shinned juvenal Hawk hanging around my bird feeders all summer. I've taken pictures of him but just yesterday got a good one. He flies in swoops to grab a small bird off of the feeders then he is gone in a flash. Yesterday he missed his target and landed on a branch just out my window. I had the camera handy and finally was able to take some decent pics of him. A friend of mine was with me and totally freaked out by the events. She had no idea that hawks frequent feeders to actually feed on the little birds eating seed. It was quite an afternoon and I am grateful for the photo opportunity. Hope you enjoy the pic.. elaine
