I felt like you a couple of days ago , they decided to do a colonoscopy " because of my history " , how was 48 hrs no food ( and for me who just LOVES food) 2 heavy doses of laxative topped off with an enema really nice !!!!!!! upside was how great that first meal tasted afterwards !! ( My daughter said all the celebs are going in for "detox and colonic irrigation" lol

Rosemary,
Since Gene is feeling better I had to get back to myself, a pile of tests awaited the past four months. I passed a kidney stone this week, had to have a kidney ultrasound today, and at 2:30 my ob gyn,,Good idea about getting up early, ya gotta try to beat them at their own game. 2 CUPS OF COFFEE SURE HELPS, good luck on your test....Ginger Beane

Tired of Doctors!?! I'm crushed. I thought we were friends. ;D
Seriously though. I had a CT urogram about 2 months ago. It was the easiest test I've had through this whole thing, and I was in the midst of stricture problems at the time. I have another one scheduled in November and I'm certainly looking more forward to that the the TURB with retrograde pyelogram in December. Sure I'll be asleep for that, but I bet I'll have a stricture dilation and have to keep my post op catheter for a few days.
You'll be fine. But you are entitled to let off steam, even so!

Aw, that's easy - just get up an hour early and drink TWO good cups of coffee
4 1/2 hours before your test. <g>

I've had that test a couple of times, no biggie as far as discomfort...

Hope your results are good!!!

Can I just let out a little steam? :(

I'm having a CT Urogram tomorrow. I've never had this test before. I can't eat or drink ANYTHING for 4 hours before the test.

How am I suppose to sit at my desk and do my work without having my coffee?

I should have taken the whole morning off.

What are we going to find tomorrow? Nothing or something?

Thanks,
Rosemary
