Tired of Doctors and another stupid test tomorrow

Rosemary,

Great to hear from you also. I'm very happy to report that the inflammation is pretty much all gone. The Enablex and Flomax also seem to be working well. I can sometimes go for four, maybe five or more hours (especially at night) between urination. I don't think the urine is completely clear yet, probably due to the dysplasia/irregular cells.
Glad you let them know how you felt the other day (not that it does much good but it sure makes us feel better ;)
I'll keep you posted.

Hey Max,

I just saw your post. Thanks, Buddy! And yep,the CT scan wasn't too bad.
But after the cost of it, I hope I don't have to do another one for awhile.

Thanks for the encouragment,
Your buddy,
Rosemary

David,

It's so good to hear from you. I've been wondering how you are doing. How ARE you doing anyway? I hope the horrible inflammation is better for you.

The doctor's visit came to $2506.00. My co-pay is 20%, but they were only asking for $250.00. (Seems like if they knew what they were doing they would ask for $500.00). I didn't owe them a cent when I walked in there and asking for that amount when I'm woozy on my feet anyway, was enough to almost floor me.

Not only that, but after I had been waiting in the bootstraps for 1/2 an hour for the DR. (after CT scan already and that awful dye), the doctor stood outside the exam room door on the phone talking to his wife about FOOD!!!

I can tell you that I really spoke my mind that day in the reception area. I would have loved to have heard the talk about me after I left.

Oh, well, walk a mile in my shoes, I say...

It's really good to hear from you, David. Please keep us posted on how your cysto goes...

Your bud,
Rosemary

Rosemary,

Congratulations on the cysto & clear urine :)

Just how much was the 20% co-pay? (you need to marry a retired military person and get on Tri-Care Prime where the in office cysto costs $12 ;) )

Always great to read your posts -- your sense of humor always brightens my day.

As a follow up to my clean biopsy back on Sep 7, I have a cysto scheduled for Nov. 16. I'm optomistic.
