Hey Jas don't soil your underwear...go to the hospital where the CT was done and ask them for the report. You just have to sign for it. I always pick mine up the next day...can't wait for a uro appointment.

A common cause of infection could be post surgical puss buid up. They say that the body should absorb it but that taks time.

I had got my first infection shortly after comming off the hopital stay when the antibiotics they gave me ran out.

You should be tracking the volume of urin u are passing. Should be around 300-400cc. any less and you may need to catheter. You may feel your evacuation is good but not measuring can lead to a bad assumpion.

Also, an ultra sound at every Dr. visit to make sre you are empty.

If evacuation is not the issue than the puss build up could be the cause.

Also, keep in mind that you immune system has not fully recovered from Chimo yet, so this infection thing may continue for a while until you have recovered.

Good luck.

PS. Just had my 6 month CT scan today......shitting in my pants for results next week. Had stage3 very high grade.

My neo was the best choice I could have made.

Your tune will change. He is not having you cath for the heck of it.

I MUST cath, or I run the risk of closing off due to scar tissue.
My tune has changed dramaticly.

FarRed..what size catheter are you using and what type? You may have to experiment with different ones.
