That is definitely a question for your doctor. My gut feeling is that if this were a good idea, the urologist would have recommmended it already. I wouldn't do anything that would compromise the effectivness of the treatment.

I have heard that it's a good thing to take 1.3 grams of baking soda to alkalize your bladder before having a Mitomycin installation treatment. Has any done this and HOW do you take it if you are to have an empty bladder. Surely it has to be with a certain amount of water??

I'm getting ready for my second treatment and need an answer which I can't seem to get here.
