Having bladder tumor removed next week :( ??

I was looking at my OLD copy of the Websters Dictionary, and found a few OLD words that will, in all probability, Not make it into the next edition.

I was waxing poetic to those pre-cancer days of old.

Tom

I hope you got my attempt at humor in my last post. I am so very happy for you and please DO NOT leave us just because you didn't have cancer. We still want you in the mix. As you can see, there are many first timers coming to this site who are scared and sure they "are going to die." Not every diagnosis is perfect and everyone needs to have someone stop them and say "take a deep breath, it may NOT be cancer."

You are living proof that "someone out there who has good information and who cares" can help a lot. We were overjoyed to share your good news. Now you can help someone else who is scared and does not know what to do next.

It is amazing how many of us tough guys, and girls, just need a hand to hold when the mere zephyr of a cancer breeze blows past. You are needed on this site.

George

Definitly will advocate. Saw doctors report. Showed procedure scheduled, remove tumor from floor of bladder. Talked about how once he got in he saw stones and gravel and blood clots on floor of bladder. Talked about trying to remove some and couldn't so they crushed and removed,. Mentioned that prostate was wrapped around tip of uretha so he did an unscheduled TURP.

A 12 hour stay turned into a 3 night 4 day stay but i am healing and thankful for everyone heres support.

Pathology report said everything biopsied was benign. He said another PSA in 2 months and he will do followup cystoscopy in 6 months.

Thanks again
