Bladder continues to be inflamed 8 weeks after BCG

It is hard to tell what is causing this. I think that the best thing to do is to call the urologist's office and get in to see him as soon as possible. It could be side effects from the BCG, and, if so, they should be dealt with as soon as possible.

My husband has had blood in his urine for the past three years. He's had two biopsies, and a cancer diagnosis this past May. He underwent six weeks of BCG and now eight weeks later, he still has blood in his urine and burning during urination. Urine tests and a CAT scan a week ago did not show any invasive cancer or cancer in the bladder(his bladder was perforated during the last biopsy). Is this inflammation and bleeding normal? Should we just wait it out or do something now? He has a follow-up appt with his uro in one month.

Thanks everyone for your support.
