My husband is on Post Op day 15 from the neobladder. On Post op Day 8 he was taken back to surgery due to an internal incision hernia. That incision has been left open to heal from the inside out. His uro said the 1st surgery looked very good and was healing inside very well. Progress has been very slow this week. Minimal bowel sounds. Today they did an xray that is showing a "slight " mechanical obstruction. But they said he is not a surgical candidate at this point. I am so worried. I know I need to ask the surgeon questions, but has anybody else had experience with this kind of situation???
