Well - made the appointment!
It would appear that there have been 'significant' changes on my CT scan.
The first being 'something' in my armpit. This could be scar tissue from the surgery last year or....more worryingly, another tumour.
The second being 'patches' on my left hip bone which have spread considerably since my last scan. Hmm - I did not even know they were there at the last scan!!!I did have a lot of hip discomfort around November and into December of last year but by the time I decided to mention it to anyone it had gone. The report did state that due to the position of these patches I will be at significant risk of a hip fracture so no more pole dancing for me!!!!However the report also said that the patches were 'not wholly indicative of mets'.
The upshot is that I will be discussed at the multidisciplinary meeting tomorrow and a plan will be arranged. Hopefully it will include a bone biopsy which, although will be painful, will at least tell us if the bone patches are malignant or not.
So - once again we are playing the waiting game. keep hugging!!!
