Just heard that I'm scheduled for a bone scan as soon as possible. The Team have also discussed the armpit findings and feel that it is probably changes following surgery that have been picked up.
Am feeling a bit more positive now.

I don't know how easy it is to get a bone scan and a PET scan authorized but I think they would provide better information and a lot less painful than a bone biopsy. I think it's worth asking about. PET scan would pick up soft tissue cancer and the bone scan would of course pick up if the bone changes are. If you are not having pain in that area I would think that to be a good sign.
I do wish tests could give immediate definitive answers. Waiting is hard on a person. Julie
