Good idea Melodie. I think I will be sure to write "HAS NEOBLADDER" on the label from now on. Thanks!

Mike,

So glad to hear your concerns are lessened with the additional information shared here on the forum. I think we warriors have to keep history sheets on ourselves and hand out copies almost every time we go in for any type of medical concern...to include notes we can actually tape on to our urine samples. :side: Melodie

From my Uro:
So, I've decided that as far as I'm concerned the cytology was a bad test and will just wait until I get the test done again at UCH on Tuesday.

That's also when I get my cysto, and hopefully the laser if they find any blockage.

My uro has it as part of his follow-up protocol. I have had two since my surgery.

Since we had a bit of a scare prior to the surgery from my local uro thinking it had gone to both kidneys, my cancer center uro agreed that it would be a good idea to do the cytology not long after my RC to be sure there were no more cancer cells present. I think it was at about the two month post op time period.

My second was just recently at the eight month point.

I'm going to ask (if he doesn't) every six months. Since my was invisible CIS, the cytology was the first place it showed up and I want to know ASAP if it does come back.
