Hi guys, my husband had his last chemo today. It was hard for him to be excited because he still has to go thru the effects of it.The tough part of today was the news we got, they had done a hep-c test on my husband that came back positive. We figured if he had it he would have had to get it from me because I was the one that had the transfusions. I came up neg on the test. Then they did another hep-c test on him and big relief it was negative. We couldn't figure out where he would have got it. We have been married for 37 years and hejust couldn't figure it out. We thought maybe from being in the national guards for 9 years and helping during disaters he came into contact with it. Or being a contracter working on someones septic problem . He has had 2 surgerys also. But when they said negative we were able to relax. But the Dr. did a third hep-c test and it came back positive . So now we see a specialist to figure out what is going on.Does he , doesn't he ?
He also has to get a muga scan to make sure his heart wasn't hurt by the chemo and other test and apps. Among all this I have to figure out when to set up my cysto it was due at the end of May.
But for now I guess we take it one day at a time. I told him the first time he gets mad at me I will know he is getting better and I am going camping and trail riding!! lol
My prayer is for everyone on this site to be healed of their cancer and to have love and peace in their life.I wish I could make it happen, night all, Rocky
P.S. does anyone have experience with hep -c ?
