We all know what our priorities are, Kathy! This year I bought myself some ice grippers for my boots. I sound like a storm trooper, but I can take out the garbage without fear.
My heart was skipping and I had a panic attack when I learned that the ice storm was headed for Oklahoma. Last winter the whole city of Tulsa went down for about 2 weeks from an ice storm. There was no place to escape to because all of the hotels and stores had no power either. No telephones were working. Almost all trees were affected. It looked like we'd been bombed. Luckily the liquor store was running off a generator and I was able to get chocolate at the Quick Trip before it went down! I have a lovely fireplace that I haven't even thought about using this winter. Power stayed on this week so it doesn't bother me that my back yard is still a skating rink! Kathy
well maybe it did..i resisted the urge to buy a hugh Hersheys chocolate bar while in the grocery....more exercise walking from one end of a super store to the other!! Pat
