Hi Jack
Normally I would not expect a return call within two hrs, however, I have been in direct contact with him over the 14 days, telling him how my bladder has reacted after this series of BCG (I also saw him twice). The last time I spoke with him, Friday morning, I told him I was no better and this has been going on for 14 days, isn't there anything that could help? He said he never had a patient respond this way, and gave me another med for frequency. Unfortunately it isn't just frequency I have complained about - it is the pressure 24/7 I have. It bothered me he did not do any research to find out what could be the problem. Maybe I am over-reacting and expecting too much, but here I am 16 days later and still no progress. Still in the house all the time because it is too uncomfortable and not worth the trouble to go anywhere.
I thought he could consult with another Uro in his practice if he did not know what to do.
You are right - I am cancer free.....so far, and we have worked together with the BCG - but I am afraid I am at a crossroads with BCG and I have to make the right decision. Perhaps I can go to the specialist at Moffitt for a follow up?
I thank you for your thoughts - Already I shiver just thinking of BCG in 5 months.
