When I asked him why he stated I know you will be back in three months. If I thought you might not return for you follow up I would do another round of BCG. That makes no sense whatsoever to me, but then again I'm not a doctor.

Did you tolerate the treatment with BCG well? If yes ask him why he did not do the maintenance. The BCG shortage really makes me angry.

How much is normal, three in the first year seems like too many.

My doctor did the same thing and I have had it come back many times. I have had mitomycin And they still come back. But recurrences are pretty normal.

I had 6 weeks of BCG no additional treatments.

I asked but he stated we will just monitor and his words were we both should not be surprised to find a new tumor.

Hi AnneH, When you say 1 round of BCG. Is that just 1 BCG treatment, or 1 treatment a week for 6 weeks?
