Doug recently got to repeat this type episode with blood in the urine. One day, he could not pee and had to go to the ER as all the urologists were in surgery. He had blood clots blocking his ability to pee. A few days later, he again had a cystoscope with his urologist; the urologist stayed in a LONG time and watched urine coming from each kidney, which was clear. No tumors and the cytology was good. He also did a CT scan which turned out well. Bottom line, Doug had warning signs and had it checked out. Everything checked out. Stay vigilant!!
PS I cannot say enough good about Doug's urologist; he is very thorough and can remember all kinds of personal stuff about our lives. I give him 5 gold stars!!!
A bit late here. I think any possible cancer that knew a stadium hot dog & beer were coming, would hit the road. Best thoughts for 11/11. For those who qualify, many restaurants offer free meals to Vets that day.
