My second post. The last was just before chemo started for my mom in January 06. She is/was stage VI grade III. She's now in her 5th cycle of 6. After 2, scans showed that the cancer had shrunk by nearly 50%. She's shocking the doctors. The nurses keep asking her if she's 'on chemo'. They've even questioned as to whether she'll need radiation. She was diagnosed in Nov. She started chemo in early Feb. She's still working twice a week and has been down to Palm Springs with the girls. She put on a huge Easter dinner spread. She's never failed to amaze and not even cancer's changing that. It's crazy! She'll do another scan after 6 cycles. Finger's crossed. We're all staying as positive as we can....it's her inner strength that's keeping all of our chin's up. Am so so proud of her.
Will post back after chemo's completed. I'm really hoping to write more positive words and hope that her story (thus far) will give inspiration to many of you harmed by the evil of cancer.
Cheers,
Sara
