Julie, I'm sorry I'm so far behind in your posts! The lexapro is great stuff.....I'm on it myself, as is my husband. We've had to adjust his dosages over the past few months, but I can't imagine him without it. It just takes time to build up in Dick's system. I hope he's better by the time I've read this.
My husband is also on a kind of Xanax that is timed release, and just added gabapentin, as an elevator and pain control. I kept asking the doctors about adding it, and they kept ignoring me, until I found a doctor who would try it. The help was almost immediate.
I hope the pain specialist was a BIG help to you both.
And keep up the swimming. You might think about adding a regular massage for yourself, too. The massage therapist can tell you what muscles need work during your workout, and help you relax.
