Question on Pembrolizumab treatmement for Urothelial Carcinoma Cancer vs Kidney

Your question is super specialized. I suggest calling the National Cancer Institute and asking about any trials that taking place that apply to you. Having only one kidney does complicate treatment.

NCI-supported clinical trials are those sponsored or otherwise financially supported by NCI. Find a Clinical Trial, to learn about options for finding trials not included in NCI's collection, Telephone 1-800 4 CANCER

I hope you can locate other options.

Just been Diagnosed with Detached fragments of high grade Urothelial Carcinoma and Hyalinized Strom in right kidney lower pole biopsy.

Invasive urothelial carcinoma, NOS , Right Kidney mid pole biopsy.

Medical Oncologist at MSK options for treatment, removed solo kidney and go on dialysis or try Pembrolizumb treatments.

Has anyone have experienced with this situation, please time sensitive.

Does anyone known if John Hopkins or any other treatment centers have options to preserve my solo kidney?

Thank you for your support,
