Hi Julie... Great news on your bloodwork and Chest CT.
A CT scan is a wonderful tool for finding the bad stuff that needs to be taken care of, but reading the report is somewhat scary because it also finds every little thing that we normally would not or should not know about going on in our body. Hopefully that non-specific thing is a shadow or scar tissue, benign cyst, etc.
My last report showed deposits in my spleen, low-attenuation cyst on my liver, and a couple other minor things all of no particular concern to the doctors. Also two metallic clips in the right pelvic area which I did not know were in there. I asked my uro at my cysto Monday if those were his, and he said they were but I could keep them. Apparently they are used during removal/dissection of lymph nodes.
I know you are anxious to hear your surgeon's read on your scan. I will stay positive right along with you that all will be good next week!
