Jim,

Sorry to hear of you problem. I had the same thing happen after my RC. They did the streching thing, like they are doing for you, but in my case that only helped for about a month. I ended up having a proceedure to remove scar tissue and that fixed the problem. I'm sure you will get this resolved. Wishing you the best.

This is an old article from Columbia Presbyterian in NYC but seems like this may be the procedure he's talking about?

For the last couple weeks my urine stream has got increasingly slower.
A Cysto yesterday revealed, that my urethra has just about closed off
were it connects my Neobladder due to scar tissue. So Tuesday I am
scheduled for a out patient procedure that will open me back up.
A cysto balloon, as he called it. This is the second time. The first
time was just two months after surgery. My surgeon feels he can be
more aggressive this time, being that I am eight months post op.
Hopefully this will be the last time, he thinks.
Not looking forward to a Foley for 3 or 4 days, but all in all,
i'll get over it. Still feeling great, and this is just a minor
bump in the road. I will not even consider it a set back.
How can a week off work be a set back? haha
