Sorry to hear about this new complication. Hope they are able to get everything under control quickly and the antibiotics knock things out.

Tough way to end a vacation. Hopefully some good times before this happened. Here's wishing things continue to improve, can be fixed easily, and you are no longer in pain.

Hi Gang just thought I would give you an update. We were just getting back to work from a short vacation when we hit a glitch. About 5 on Wen. evening I started to experience abdominal pain. By midnight I was in the local emergency room with a blockage somewhere between my remaining kidney and my pouch. A CT without contrast did not show any tumors or the reason for the blockage. Thursday they installed a nephrostomy tube in my remaining kidney. They have identified a massive infection but we are still waiting for the cultures but the antibiotics seem to be working. I was transferred by ambulance to Boston I am now waiting for a urogram and they may be able to place a stint now or may wait until next week. The good news is that my Creatinine has gone to 1.8 from 2.75 and is going in the right direction. I will keep you all updated cross your fingers for me.
