I just got the following email from my Urologist. I thought it was interesting in term of using it with a cystoscopy. I've had many in the last 4 years but I'll admit I am always nervous. Not so much from the procedure itself but more because just hoping they don't find anything. So in my mind, anything that reduces the nervousness will be welcome. -
We're now piloting the use of Nitrous Oxide at our XXXXX location. Often referred to as 'laughing gas' this mild sedative is commonly used at dentist offices to ease pain and anxiety. At Urology Austin, we'll be offering this option to patients undergoing in-office procedures such as cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, vasectomies and UroLift. More information will be coming soon.
