We need more reports like this! Especially during BC month of July! But, love that this one happened.

I know Mike but I was told it was normal by 2 urologists. It sure does make me wonder. He just had me come back every year, and the only thing he did each time was a KUB, which showed nothing. I still say if he did a routine scope at those appointments that the bc would not have even developed. That is hind sight

Yikes! Normal to have blood for years before discovering invasive bladder cancer?

I'd say I would figure it to be normal if your urologist didn't have any teeth anymore and you helped him along with that! Geez! Blood...normal...Where does your uro bleed on a regular and unexplained basis that is normal?

Argh!

Very interesting. I had blood in my urine for years, not that I could see, and my uro said it was normal for me. I think if I had more scopes that they would have found my cancer before it got to be muscle invasive. That's just my thought.
