Well Harley thats all we had to go on in 2007 and as you remember your father had lots of complications including a penectomy. I still think this should only be done by a Uro who has done a ton of these surgeries.
I'm not sure who else will try these trials outside of Chapel Hill.

If you remember, back in 2007 when my 80-yr.-old father had RC, the doctor did not order any pre-op bowel prep and this forum freaked out! Now seems as if the doctor is vindicated in his decision.

I saw that this morning and thought what an improvement in the process (assuming results prove out). The next day I was so dehydrated they had a hard time getting a vein to start an IV during surgery prep.

from Chapel Hill...Dr. Pruthi a top uro...small number but interesting outcome. I can only imagine this being done at a MAJOR center though that does lots of reconstruction.
