I posted the alert in Articles of Interest.
I know 2 Canadians who have bladder cancer and took the drug for their diabetes. This is going to snowball big time.

Just googled this. The FDA alert came out mid-June, there are at least four paid Google ads at the top of the list from lawyers!!

In today's Oregonian, a smallish ad at the bottom of the page in the first section: "Urgent News for DIABETICS with BLADDER CANCER" (Caps theirs). Says that the diabetes drug, Actos, has been linked to an increase risk of bladder cancer. This benevolent firm of attorneys will be happy to sue for you, with "No fees or costs until your case settles." They do note in the ad that they are NOT licensed to practice in Oregon, but assure that they have "associates" throughout the US.

Well, it is nice that someone is interested in bladder cancer  Cynthia, maybe we could hit them up for a contribution to the cause?
