Always check with your doctor before adding any kind of treatment even if it is considered non toxic or natural. I did a little research and they caution that frankincense even oil applied to the skin should not be used if you are using a blood thinner. Again please check with your doctor before adding anything to someones treatment to make sure they do not impact what is already being given.

Found this article and there are many other studies if you google it. You can purcahse 100% pure Frankincense essential oil from Young Living. Great to put in a foot soak or massage into feet with a carrier oil. Google a reflexology point chart, locate the bladder (near arch of foot) sometimes this area will be swollen if you have bladder issues. And massage the Frankincense oil into the point on the feet, also the abdomin. Oils cannot hurt you so I think it is worth the $90 investment. I am going to try some on Dad.
