Something everyone on here already knew! I had not heard of this until I read it here in so many posts. This study abstract was published yesterday showing chewing gum shortened time to bowel motility by 12+ hours. This was not mentioned to me at the hospital after my surgery. I've learned so much in just a week on this site!
