My sister was stationed at Camp LeJeune during the period of time when the water was heavily contaminated. She had to have a kidney removed due to kidney cancer 7 years ago. She was told kidney cancer was not on the list for service connected disability.
I keep pushing her to pursue the matter as there is probably many other Marines who have had cancer as a result of the exposure. I don't think they can be so sure the exposure didn't cause her cancer.
Thanks for the link to the organization I have forwarded it to her.

I was recently talking to a blogger and she gave me the following information for anyone that was ever stationed at Camp Lejeune and has bladder cancer. Hope you find this helpful.

Charlotte - I encourage you to contact the group The Few, The Proud, The Forgotten @ www.tftptf.com/

They are dealing with the issues at Camp Lejeune and their site is rich with information about water contamination. Good luck and thanks for reading.
