Hello,

I took loads of exercise, walking mostly but quite often lifting weights with my right arm in the pub too,, during my chemo. That was back in Dec 2008 - March 2009 and not exactly the ideal weather, but I really felt that it was doing me good. As my cancer symptoms receded, courtesy of the chemo, I found that I could do more and more exercise. It was a real bonus as I live in a beautiful part of England, the South Downs and walking through the stunning scenery just added to the whole experience.

My chemo turned out to be a real breeze, although I'm not entirely sure the exercise was the reason, but it sure felt good.

Cheers, Mike

I saw this article in CURE today and thought it might interest people who need chemo. It seems counterintuitive to use exercise to ease fatigue but we are finding more out about the benefits of exercise.
