Actually don't need the pain meds for the root canal but the tooth had caused a nasty infection that caused my neck to swell from my left ear all the way around to my throat. It was pretty nasty and it was resistant to penicillin. Now that he took care of the tooth (looked fine on the outside) the other antiobiotics should take care of the infection.

Pain from ear to jaw and around the neck. Caused me to miss a work meeting in Dallas.

What about all the leaded gasoline I used to pump into the farm trucks when I was kid? Used to be my favorite job. Oh well still kicking.

Lead can be bad in all sorts of ways. Avoid being penetrated by bullets if at all possible.
:)

(Still a little loopy from pain meds and my root canal).
Sitting on the couch with my daughter who just had rotator cuff surgery. Hanging out and taking our pain pills. :)
Wife is helping out but she's still recovering from her back surgery from a couple of weeks ago. What a day!
