The pesticide contamination link for me is very interesting. One of my questions to the oncologist I saw when first diagnosed was in relation to this. I was very ill in my early twenties with some type of food poisoning which affected my liver, my GP thought it was some contaminant on salad such as a pesticide. No problem, full recovery, I thought. Who knows ? Needless to say, I don·t use any pesticides on my homegrown fruit and veg !!
