Blood in the urine

Each of us reacts differently to treatments, some breeze through BCG with no issues, others like me were hit hard from the get go.

After a course of 6 BCG, I expect urgency, frequency, burning, bleeding and tissue particles for weeks My doctors considered my experience to be on the high side, but within the normal range.

Is your bladder red, swollen and irritated? Has your doc located the source of the bleeding ? 

While blood in the urine CAN be a sign of cancer, there are many causes of blood in the urine that are unrelated to cancer.

Hang in there. Hopefully it will resolve soon.

I have completed the six BCG treatments and awaiting the TRU-BT second look .  I still experience some blood and particals in my urine.  The doctor says this is not normal and had given me medication for the bleeding.    No improvement after 10 days.  Has anyone else had the similiar problems.
