Since Bob came home from the hospital almost 2 wks ago, he has stayed in bed, except for getting on the potty chair. I think that also has stopped now.
He eats (very little), sleeps, eats, sleeps, eats, sleeps....watches a little TV early in the morning and around 8-9pm. I pull a chair up next to his bed and read some scripture to him at night, hoping to give him some comfort.
He has been withdrawing more which is normal. A very good patient and still remembers to say "Thank You" and most of all....I Love You.
This is so hard to go through but I want to be with him all the way. We have had a good life together and we still have such good support from our children and loved ones.
We are doing as the doctor ordered: Take one day at a time.
