I have actual pictures of the inside of my husband's bladder taken from his last TURBT. You can clearly see the new tumors starting to grow and the area of CIS. They were taken by a camera on the end of the scope and they are immediately printed and ready to see by the time the doc leaves the OR. I found it very helpful to see what he was explaining to me as he pointed out different areas that he biopsied. I saw the photos before I got to see my husband in recovery! Unfortunately the program used by the endoscope does not produce digital images. I am working on having a friend scan them so I can have them as an image file. I will share them once I am able.
