Hi clair, thanks for that. My mums 75 and cant use a computer though@ we have looked into support groups in uk theres nothing in city in which we live theres one 20 miles away that holds 3 meetings a year. The lack of support and follow up care is unbelievable here.

Hi
My name is Claire I had a similar op to your Mum last August. It is really hard to come to terms with especially as I am only in my early 40s.I am happy to correspond with your Mum by email but for obvious reasons not happy to give my home address out on the net.
Your Mum should have access to support groups via her GP maybe if she has a word at her local surgery they can put her in touch.
Take care love Claire

Hi there, my mum is 75 and has recently in feb 07 had a full bladder/womb removal and now has a stoma bag. Support here in uk is next to non existant. She would love to have a lady penpal whos been through same/similar experiences to write to. If any females would like to be her penfreind then please contact me thanks Amanda x
