There was also a pretty great movie (IMHO) titled "The Bucket List".

Here is a trailer. It came out in 2008. Pretty sure it is available world wide.

OK , I get the expression now - we say "kick the bucket "as well, and in the north of England (aka clog country to the southerners), we say "pop your clogs" so am now starting my oficial Clog list!

I LOVE THIS!!!

This British/American thing. Totally separated by a common language! Here in the States though we have bastardised the English language to suit our needs.

Our slang term for dying is "kick the bucket!"

Hence, the term "Bucket List" is the list of things we want to do before we ........ Kick the Bucket.

It appears as though you are already well into LIVING. I am so proud of your attitude to LIVE.... Really LIVE .... and LIVE you will. Just be careful on that motorcyle! I was an avid bicyclist for years and jumped on a motorcycle for a day and quickly realised that I would turn into a road maniac if I continued. I was absolutely sure I would end up splattering myself all over this planet. So I took up other safe hobbies; like skiing, and race car driving.

I am cheering for you because I know that live performances are so much better than recorded. I’m delighted that it worked so well for you to have him perform right nearby.

George - what is a bucket list? Like a wish list?
My husband was laughing last night when we came back home - we watch a programme on the telly called ·My name is Earl·. and he said I should have a piece of paper with my list of things I want to do like Earl has, so I can cross them off as I go along.Problem is, I have a feeling I would keep adding to the list!!
As to what·s next - despite the fact that most of my friends and family think I am absolutely barking mad - I am learning to ride a motorbike, loving it, and wishing I had tried to do it years ago.Whilst I hopè I don·t kill myself in the process, you are dead right, I am sure survival makes the pleasure sweeter. Also now when I really want to do something I tend to bite on the bullet and do it, as I don·t take time for granted as I used to.

A dream fulfilled indeed!

And an American Blues Guitarist who has had health issues of his own to boot!

Somehow, survival makes us MORE aware of the real pleasures of this life.

Another one to check off the bucket list!
