I remember a Barney Miller episode about this.

Fish (Abe Vigoda) getting up to go to the bathroom: You know, they say you figure out a man's age by taking his height and multiplying by the number of times he goes to the bathroom in day.


Cracked me up! I tried to find the exact line and wound up reading through so many hilarious quotes from the show that I think I'll have to start recording it off the TV Land channel.


On another note, I think I may have tied you for number of times in a night! Not anymore though. Since the RC/prostatectomy I use the external catheter and get up exactly zero times in a night. If I had known about them before I probably would have tried it out before the bladder cancer!

Ok lets have a contest to see who gets up the most at night to pee.
Rule one: you still have to have a bladder
Rule two: you have to be potty trained
Rule three: anyone that uses an outhouse wins hands down, especially if you
live in the north.
Rule four ,you get extra points if you have to run up and down steps to go.
Rule five. No chamber pottys, thats cheating.
Rule six, on second thought we will allow those who have had bladder
replacement surgery to particapate.
Rule seven, people doing rule six have to spot the rest of us two free pees.
