Reminder for Catheter Users: No need to Re-use

So True!!...Yes they always follow their guidelines though my insurance company made an exception as my surgeon made a pretty good case for me on not re-using caths.

I know that Pat mentioned it at some point, but I figured I would post what I found for any newcomers. I am sure that since Medicare has agreed that re-using catheters is not sterile, and are now covering catheters for each use, other insurance companies must follow suit. This policy took effect on April 1, 2008.
