Good to hear it is going well. I was starting to get worried.

Thanks. Found a PC without outside access. Easier than posting here with my iPhone. Especially, if I hit that pain button on my IV. Down to only two IVs now (Albumin and the Potassium Chloride w/Dilaudid PCA).

I think infections cleared up but haven't had rounds yet so I'm not sure.

Hopefully you will feel alot better real soon and may this be the last of the "tuneups" for a while.

Still in the hospital. Surgery went long as there was a kink near where I was stapled together last time and the staples had reduced the opening by half. My intestine on the upstream side of the staples had gotten thicker and stronger from all the extra work. There was a Lima bean in the kinked part. My surgeon snipped out all if the stapled portion plus the kink and hand sewed it back together.
Labs showed infection in there also. Knocked that out with antibiotics.

Still have NG tube in. It was clamped off last night for 4 hours with no problem. Clamped it again at 6am this morning. Ok so far. Gas and sounds good so far. Just no production yet.

Hernias also fixed. This was open surgery and the incision line is way better than last time. Also wearing a binder which helps a lot when I cough.

Probably get out tomorrow.

Mike,
Just wondering how you are doing. Are you on the road to recovery and I just missed it?
