You are in an excellent place for bladder cancer evaluation and treatment. My choice would definitely be USC
Institute of Urology.

Hannah,

The link below, to a 2013 article archived by the NIH discusses early age bladder cancer, and provides links to additional articles. I hope this will help with your search for information.

Statistically, bladder cancer affects more older people, but on rare occasions even teenagers have been diagnosed.

Since your husband is outside the "usual," it would be a very good idea to get an evaluation/2nd opinion at a place that specializes in bladder cancer treatment. Many urologists mostly see and treat prostate conditions and are not always up on the latest in bladder cancer. Your husband needs to be sure that he is receiving the very best, up-to-date care.

If you let us know your geographical location, I am sure that someone on the Forum will have some suggestions for you, if you are not already being treated at such a place.

Hello all,

Hope my first post is in the right area. My husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year and he is only 28. Doctor recommends Cystectomy, we a very concerned especially with him being so young? It is hard to find any info on people under 30 with bladder cancer.
