Thanks to all. Ya I was sure it was going to be T2. This is good, it gives me some breathing room as long as it doesn't show up at the three month scope. I am still leaning towards an RC just because of the numbers,(90% at five years vs 66%) but I will get a 2nd opinion from a Oncology Urologist before I decide. The main thing is to make it through salmon season and to be on a good footing during the winter if I choose that. Warren.
Congratulations!!! This is GREAT news!!!
You still want to follow up with the 2nd opinion but it is fantastic news!
I think you were pretty convinced you were going to be restaged to T2 and you came back clear.
Do the BCG and they will likely (standard with NCCN guidelines) recommend follow up BCG for 3 weeks, 6 months after you complete the first course of treatment.
Great news Warren. Pray that the BCG works. It's well worth taking all the BCG they will give
you, as long as the cancer does not return. This whole cancer thing can be an emotional roller coaster, that's just the way it is. Having great support from your family helps a lot.
Wishing you and your family the best.
