Hi,

Rosie you seeeem to be just monitoring your coarl reef - is there a reason why you don't go in for slash and burn and a spot of meat welding?

Surely it is safer to NOT have an area of Cancer in the bladder than to watch it grow!

Sorry, I don't follow the medical logic - I'm all for rapid removal where possible.

Perhaps there is a very sound logic to your treatment but if an area exists and it IS growing surely it would NOT grow if it wasn't there!

I look forward to your clarification.

Thanks,
Greg L-W.

Hi,

good heavens - the woman's stoned again  :o - will someone go take that bong off her at least until Saturday! ::)

What with Blowfish and now Lovenox - I should think your husband is looking forward to a few days in hospital to catch up on his sleep! 8-)

I hope all goes well with the umberella chappie tomorrow, at least he won't be banished to the couch!  8-) Back to the Blowfish and the stoned lady until Friday  8-) - then some rest. ;) The TURBT is a dodle [been there done that don't like the TShirt!] >:(

By the way I do think the moticon with the tongue should be banned on a Urology Forum - you'll get yourself into even more trouble, with or without the bong! ;)

How is the carpet wear doing  :-[ - just think if the kitchen had been carpeted your husband wouldn't have scuffed his knee!  ;)

On Friday go easy on the bong and see if you can find those rose tinted glasses from the last Greatfull Dead concert you went to  ::) and you won't be worried by the colour of the catheter bag  ;) - the first day can be scarey Burgundy yo scarey, Claret by morning and a steady fade back to Champagne. 8-) Worse hangover than the bong but no risk of flash backs! :-/

Keep smiling - this is the closest you are coming to reef diving this year! ;)

Good luck - only 2 days to go to C free bladder diving! Blowfish, Lovenox - whatever floats your boat  8-)

Chill - life is what gets in the way of your plans. It WILL be OK. :-*

Regards to you both and good luck, ;)

Regards,
Greg L-W.

PS: The Bong sure does more for your nerves than blowing Bubbles (woops I'm sure your husband disagrees - I forgot your nick name!) :-X

PPS: Did you know Nick name comes from the name you did not get through Baptism thus from 'Old Nick' (the Devil) I'm not even asking how you got your name - clearly Devilish fun! ;D ;D ;)

I had my cystscopy today and did see the coral reef you described. The doc and I have been watching a low grade papillary recurrence since February of this year. This is my fourth recurrence in 6 years. It seems it grows less than a millimeter a month. He is checking the urine cytology. If it is negative again, as it has been. I will have another cystoscopy the end of March. If bleeding or pain in my groin appears, I will have the tumor removed immediately. In the meantime, I saw a view of it today that did resemble a white coral reef. I am now taking Cipro for the next 2 days as a guard against infection.

You are such a breath of fresh air (how come everything I say to you somehow some way could possible be relevant to the Bong theory)!   :P

I LOVE the "only three more days" statement.  I guess I should be accepting Friday with open arms as oposed to dreading it.

The filter will be inserted tomorrow (Wednesday 15th) via the groin.  It is similar to an umbrella.  Once placed one end spreads open, locks itself in place and will stop the ability of clots from traveling.  As far as long term and the filter becoming "full" the body has a way of eventually working around the hardware. The veins and blood will eventually flow around it and the specific area where to filter is place will expand.  Some of the ways the body cooperates with modern medicine is amazing.  Some of it is beyond my comprehension which frustrates me.  I like situations to be black and white as opposed to gray and complicated.

I gave hubby is last belly shot (Lovenox-blood thinner) this AM until post filter placement surgery tomorrow.  Tick Tock Tick Tock........I feel like I am dealing with a time bomb when it comes to this part of the week.....  I have ordered him to the couch and no movemant (not that it really would help if a peice of clot broke off---if it's gonna happen it's out of our control at this point....)........but at least it keeps him out of my way while I pace from room to room  ;D

Three more days......ahhhhhhhhh  ;)
