Father having radical cystectomy on Friday

He finished chemotherapy about 6 weeks ago. He tolerated it very well - didn't vomit once, only lost half his hair (but it turned white and went straight). Our concerns are complications with the anesthesia, post-op infection, and difficulty living with the ileal conduit.

How long ago did he finish chemotherapy? You need time to recover from that before surgery. Tell us more.
