good news from John.....Leigh will be discharged on the 23rd and home for Christmas!

So glad to know you are recovering well from the surgery, Leigh! Even though the Drs. seem to think they got the entire tumor, with the diagnosis of mestastisis must come a new plan from your oncologist to fight on. I know you have great strength and resolve and will weather this set-back! I will always be here cheering for you!

Hello,

Leigh was out of bed on his own today, quit a progress, there is no drain,
no drip attached to his body anymore.
Walking around still has to be done carefully, but he is getting there

He's got no pain, only an uncomftable feeling in his neck, he has got 15
stitches to keep the skin together

I will only inform you next time when Leigh is getting out of
hospital,hopefully this week, he will send his own e-mails from then
again...

Thanks for the update and thanks for the good news. Please wish Leigh our best and let him know that Rudy put up some BIG TIME recovery numbers. I wish him the same speedy recovery, but, this is not a race. Recover at his own pace.

Day Two.......another message from John on Leigh.

Today Leigh has spoken to the doctors.

They think that everything has been removed from the cerebelum, ofcourse a
scan has to be made to confirm this.

However, they think it is a metastesie which comes from his other tumor
that has been removed two years ago. Tests still have to confirm this.....
with the oncologist there will be made any further steps.

Leigh and i are still very positive about this, there are still a lot of
things to deal with this cancer.... however, it is a bit of a sitback.


If there is any more news i will let everybody know.
