No chocolate or dairy--does bad things to my new bladder. Skim milk is OK. I read that sugar feeds cancer, so carbonated bevs are out anyway (can't stand atificial sweetners).

Chocolate a day keeps the doc away!! LOL. Things high in antioxidants are known to help. Such as dark colored berries etc such as blueberries, pomegranates. Brocoli is also known to have good properties.

Chocolate! Got me laffin, Pat. But, I don't deny myself.

Somewhere I read something from Dr. Lamm's practice (didn't bookmark it) that he has observed people eliminating carbonated soft drinks from their diet seem to have very few reoccurences. Makes sense to me. Take a dirty penny and oout into coke and see what happens!

I agree with things being shared. I would add that I take a cranberry pill or eat cranberries daily.
There are some new things about juicing asparagus and drinking that daily.
Staying away from meat as much as possible, especially beef.

Finally, drinking green tea. I have found some tasty things from lipton that you add to a water bottle. They are green tea and citrus or green tea, mango and peach combo.

I found an earlier thread related to the topic with Dr. Lamm's suggestions.
