Every Night I pray: "Please God, Let me win the Lottery."

Finally God answered: "George, Help me out here! .... Buy a ticket!"

OK Guys and Girls. Lets realize that my New Years Wish was just that. With a side order of tongue...... in cheek.

Light a man a fire and he is warm for an evening.
Light a man ON fire and he's warm forever.

Hmmm. Given the slim chances of a lottery win, maybe take that money that you planned to buy the tickets with and send it ABLCS. That way Cynthia and rest of ABLCS can do more for this site and some of their other goals.

:) Not pushing anybody.... Just an idea. :)

Happy New Year to all and best wishes for a healthy, happy, and prosperous (by your own definition) one!

George

If that is what you wish for the New Year then I certainly hope that you get it. HOWEVER a couple of words of advise:

I saw the TV show about lottery winners and the money really screwed up their lives.

I was forced to retire early with lower back pain and really hated it. Every day was just like the day before it. Monday, Wednesday, Sunday – all the same. Time drags by. Many of the retirement things I would like to do require lifting or other physical challenges. Work gives life structure and purpose. Maybe I was just a rare guy who really enjoyed his work.

Anyway best of luck with the lottery win. Cancer research might be a good place to get rid of some of your winnings. There have been a number of encouraging press releases from that area recently. Oh and when the burden of having too much lottery money gets too great there is always your ol’ buddy motomike ready to help.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

To All of You!

We may not have $$$$ to spend like that, but (and it is a big butt) the good this site has done for people we don't even know, is worth so much
