    Ileal Conduit Urinary Diversion:
    A segment of the intestine directs urine through a stoma into an external collecting bag.

    Indiana Pouch Reservoir:
    A pouch made out of portions of intestines stores urine until it is drained via a catheter inserted through the stoma.

    Neobladder to Urethra Diversion:
    Intestine is made into a reservoir and connected to the urethra.

    Hi, Joe,
    Although specific diversion designs may be configured differently, these are very good general depictions of the 3 types of urinary diversions. Thanks for posting them, and I plan to ask Wendy to include these with my post on the options for bladder replacement that is kept at the top(under announcements) of this section of the forum. These pictures will help those facing RC surgery better understand their choices.
