You'll have a normal life if you choose to. You may obsess on some days, but if you choose to look at it as just another pothole on the road through life, then your days will be as happy as you make them. For me, the changes were positive - I read all my food labels, eat healthier, and read ALOT about other things I can do to stay healthier. I'm only 49, I plan on living alot longer, with or without my bladder! I just had back surgery from a stupid fall this winter, and it was much more bothersome than the cancer (that actually returned after an initial 2 yr absence)... now I'm trying to get my T2 diabetes back under control (some of those painkillers and the pain response it self got it all out of whack) - and in August, we'll see if the Big C came back again.
I mentioned before, my urologist said if he had to get any kind of cancer, it would be superficial non-invasive TaG1 bladder cancer...
